Gemeinsam mit dem SC Huglfing veranstaltete der SCM am 28. Januar das Auftaktrennen des diesjährigen Kreis-Cup.
Am Rennhang der Wettersteinbahnen in Ehrwald maßen sich 285 Kinder und Jugendliche aus 23 Vereinen im Riesenslalom. Trotz herrlichem Wetter verlangten Piste und Kurssetzung den FahrerInnen ihr ganzes Können ab.
Den weichen, nassen Schnee meisterten am besten mit den Tagesbestzeiten in den Kinderklassen Grace Randall vom TSV Oberammergau mit 32,22 Sekunden und Benedikt Knoll vom SC Murnau mit 30,33 Sekunden. Auf der Jugendstrecke überzeugten Anna Heger mit 53,66 Sekunden und Fabian Schwarz mit 50,33 Sekunden, beide DAV Peißenberg.
Unsere Athleten überzeugten mit den meisten Podiumsplätzen (9) vor dem SC Lauterbach (8) und dem TSV Oberammergau (7).
