Vom 19. Bis zum 21. Januar 2024 fand das 2. Hüttenwochenende des SCM auf der Wettersteinwand-Hütte statt und war mit über 50 Teilnehmern ein voller Erfolg.
Freitagmittag trafen sich alle Teilnehmer am Volksfestplatz in Murnau, um gemeinsam in Fahrgemeinschaften nach Ehrwald zu fahren. Nach der reibungslosen Anreise musste das Gepäck per Gondel, Pistenraupe und mühsam per Hand in die Hütte gebracht werden. Belohnt wurde dies mit einem gemeinsam zubereiteten Abendessen, Spaghetti Bolognese. Der Höhepunkt des ersten Abends war aber zweifellos das Nachtrodeln im Skigebiet. Bei voller Scheinwerferbeleuchtung stürzten sich Kinder und Trainer mit Begeisterung den Hang hinab.
Samstagvormittag war plangemäß unserem gewöhnlichen Skitraining gewidmet. Am Nachmittag hingegen war es den Teilnehmern überlassen, das Skigebiet auf eigene Faust zu erkunden. Nach dem gemeinsamen Abendessen, diesmal Spätzle, bei deren Zubereitung alle zusammenhalfen, ließ jeder Teilnehmer den Tag auf seine Weise ausklingen. Egal ob Schneeballschlacht, gesellige Runde mit Kartenspielen oder ein ruhiges Genießen der Hüttenatmosphäre, es war für jeden etwas geboten.
Der Sonntag stand leider schon im Zeichen des Abschiedes. Während in der Früh noch die Hütte geputzt wurde und das Gepäck abtransportiert wurde, konnten die Kinder noch ein letztes Mal die Pisten unsicher machen. Die Abreise am Sonntagmittag erfolgte wieder in unseren Fahrgemeinschaften.
Der SCM bedankt sich bei allen Teilnehmern für dieses wunderbare Erlebnis.
Ein besonderer Dank gilt der Familie Rieger, die es uns ermöglicht hat in der Wettersteinwand-Hütte zu bleiben, der Gaststätte Ähndl, die uns mit der notwendigen Verpflegung ausgestattet hat, allen Helfern vor Ort und insbesondere unserem Organisator Max Blank, der den ganzen Ausflug erst möglich gemacht hat.
